Dr. Jungmin Lee received his medical degree from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Lee completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Severance Hospital in Seoul, South Korea. Dr. Lee came over to Pittsburgh for a visiting scholar and successfully finished research program at UPMC. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at Allegheny General Hospital.

Dr. Lee is American Board of Internal Medicine certified in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, Pennsylvania Medical Society and Allegheny County Medical Society.

Dr. Lee is an active medical staff member at UPMC/Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, St. Clair Hospital, South Hills Endoscopy Center, Mon Valley Hospital, and Spartan Health Surgicenter.

Dr. Lee's clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of upper intestinal disorders, colon disorders such as inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), screening colon cancer, and liver disease (fatty liver, cirrhosis and hepatitis C).

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, dog, and golf.
