HOW TO HANDLE AN EMERGENCY

In the event of a true emergency, using your telephone Dial 911 and report to your nearest emergency department. The Emergency Room physician will begin evaluation and treatment and will contact our doctor-on-call. You should notify your family physician also.

During regular office hours, our clinical staff is available to help you with any questions regarding your care. Every effort will be made to return your call in a timely manner, but on many occasions, they may not be able to return your call until the next day.

You will receive a letter with your upper endoscopy and colonoscopy biopsy results including your physician’s follow up recommendations within 2 weeks of you procedure.

Our physicians are available for medical emergencies 24 hours a day, including weekends and holidays. The doctor-on-call may be reached through our telephone answering service at 412-232-8104.
