Jill is a native of Charleroi, Pa. She graduated from Charleroi High School in 1991 and graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She received a Master's of Science degree from Lewis University in 2001 and began teaching Criminology for the University of Maryland University College, Asian division in Okinawa, Japan. Jill then changed career paths graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Waynesburg College in 2005. She worked in the Neurovascular ICU at UPMC Presbyterian for 12 years until 2017. She received her second masters/CRNP from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2017. She then began work at Magee Women's Hospital ICU as a critical care nurse practitioner before joining Pittsburgh Gastroenterology Associates in August of 2019.

Jill is board certified as a Family Nursing Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is certified in Critical Care nursing, Stroke certified, and a member of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Jill lives in Speers with her husband and two children. She enjoys various outdoor activities and spending time with her family and pets.
